All rooms are lovingly adorned with features and fixtures that pay homage to the surrounding area and make your stay relaxing and truely memorable.
The accommodation at Middlehurst Station is a modern, purpose-built lodge set amongst the dramatic landscape of the Awatere Valley. The lodge was developed after the Station's original stone shearers' quarters were badly damaged by the 2016 Kaikōura earthquake. Guests can expect warm and inviting private rooms complete with ensuites and a view out across the Station. A large living and dinning area provides the ideal space for your group to wind down and enjoy seasonal cuisine prepared on site.
Lake Hāwea Station
The owners of Lake Hāwea Station have lovingly restored and upgraded two sets of shearers' quarters to create exceptional on-station accommodation. The quarters retain their rustic charm while providing a luxurious and inviting retreat for our guests to enjoy. Comfortable indoor spaces reflect the landscape and rich heritage of property while relaxing outdoor areas give guests an opportunity to immerse themselves in the surroundings. Guests can expect beautifully appointed private rooms along with a range of common areas for dining and unwinding after a day of adventure.
